Surprise Baby Shower

A dear friend of mine from Alaska was trying to surprise her family and friends in Oregon with a visit. Some of her best friends found out and decided to turn the tables on her and surprise her with a baby shower! This was my first attempt at a two-tiered cake and my first time working with gumpaste. I LOVE the way the tiara turned out!!

I made some cupcakes to go along with my niece's cake. These are a chocolate fudge swirl cupcake dipped in ganache and topped with a vanilla buttercream. SO delicious!!!

My niece's 3rd birthday party was a few weeks ago and she is in love with Strawberry Shortcake. This is the cake that I made for her. I love the way it turned out!!

40th birthday for twins!!

Rainbow Chip Cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream and sprinkles!!

Lemon cupcakes with a lemon curd filling and vanilla buttercream topped with fresh blueberries!

Chocolate layer cakes with chocolate buttercream filling and raspberries and chocolate buttercream frosting.

I made six dozen cupcakes and these two cakes for their party. I didn't get any pics of my red velvet with cream cheese frosting and fresh raspberries! :(
