I made some wonderfully yummy Pumpkin Spice cupcakes today. Oh they were fabulous. I know that "warm and cozy" isn't a flavor but if anything could truly be described as tasting "warm and cozy" it would be these delectable cakes. Just perfect for a Fall day.
I also decided to do a bit of experimenting today. I put a few of the cupcakes into the food processor and crumbed them, added about 1/2 cup of sugar, about 1/2 cup of butter and then pressed that "dough" into a mini (bite-size) tartlet pan and poured enough homemade pumpkin pie filling into the pan to fill the cup and then baked them. They turned out fabulously.
